Liver pain symptoms

Many other abdominal pains can often be confused with liver pain. Liver pain is usually felt in the right side of the abdominal region as a dull ache. Abdominal pain and/or back pain is also present in some instances. Patients can have slightly differing locations of their pain at times. This is why it is often difficult to tell the difference between other abdominal pains and liver pain. Complications often arise because people tend to ignore symptoms until they are very serious. This is why pain should be identified and treated at the onset. Some of the symptoms of liver pain follow.

Pain location is a very important factor in identifying this condition. Most often the pain is felt in the abdomen, below the ribs on the right side. Many people experience this pain as a dull ache, though it could manifest as a sharp pain in some patients. Shoulder pain or back pain may also accompany this condition. Some other common symptoms are brown blemishes or spots on the skin, itching or a skin rash. Swelling or itching near the eyes or a yellowish skin discolorations can also develop. Some people develop dark under eye circles as well.

Other liver pain symptoms can include bad breath, excessive sweating and an offensive body odor. The soles of the feet and the palms of the hands sometimes become red, inflamed and itchy. Besides all of the previously mention symptoms, there are other which can accompany liver pain. All these symptoms can vary due to the underlying causes.

• Difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Nausea
• Joint Pain
• Pain while inhaling
• Weight loss
• Swelling of the testes
• Diarrhea
• Bloating of the abdomen
• Coughing accompanied with pain
• Pale stools
• Urine that is discolored

It is very rare for a patient with liver pain to suffer from all the above listed symptoms, however having only a few symptoms could very well indicate that a person has this condition, a condition that can be caused due to numerous factors. A person should seek immediate medical attention of they begin to suffer from severe symptoms such as hallucinations, vomiting of blood, severe liver pain, rapid heartbeat or very high fever.
